SHREK 2 Mini Moove six-packs are packaged with shrinkwrapping technology from SMI Pacifica.
The 200mL size of the bottles, with high centres of gravity, square sides and rounded corners present handling challenges. The SMI Divipack channeliser puts the bottles into rows ready for shrinkwrapping. Once inside the SMI LSK 30 shrinkwrapping machine the bottles are grouped in packs of six and divided into two lanes for smooth flow and high output.
The system is integrated with the rest of the packaging line and all internal functions are coordinated by software which minimises the need for mechanical linkages.
